Wild camp by the river, night two

Found a flat patch of moss between the trees and a stream loud enough to sleep through anything.

Night one was a lay-by with a view. Night two was this, and I nearly didn't leave. The forest track in is firm gravel with one wet crossing, fine on a loaded Africa Twin if you go slow.

What worked

A tarp over the bike for the dew, a water filter for the stream and a very early start to beat the logging trucks on the way out.
